Does anybody else plan their Christmas party outfits days/weeks in advance?

I've been thinking about Christmas parties and festivities since June, and now Christmas is only a few days away!!

I think this J. Crew dress is wonderful for the holidays. It's formal and modest enough for an office party but the fit and color make it interesting enough to mingle with family and friends.

I didn't want to draw more attention to the neckline by adding a necklace, so I focused on other jewelry.
